The Internet is the largest and most significant creation in human history.
On the great network, information and ideas compete in a Darwinian struggle. Only the accurate and relevant will survive. Through the Internet, humanity will, collectively, heave itself out of the dark twilight of fear, hatred and ignorance - with astonishing speed.
The incredibly diverse inhabitants of the Internet - anarchists, racists, pagans, fetishists, body piercers, neo-Nazis, vulgarians, religious fundamentalists, heretics, psychopharmacologists, and so many others - while holding conflicting and often extreme viewpoints, do all share an intense love for the Internet, and, by implication, for the ability to express oneself freely, consume information discretely and enter into transactions privately that the only the Internet makes possible. Humanity's shared overriding concern for the well-being of the network may well give rise to a future political movement that transcends national and cultural boundaries.
